ISHA has a state lobbyist who monitors legislation and works in ISHA's behalf. The Capitol Hill Group reviews the lobbyist's reports and information and provides ongoing feedback to the lobbyist.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) please contact one of Iowa's legislative councilors. ISHA supports three representatives on the ASHA policy-making body who vote on resolutions at each annual convention and field questions regarding any of its policies.
